Television Work

Elliot Films have, over more than 20 years, experienced making unscripted television, factual and ob-doc series, on five continents, from Japan to Sweden, Mongolia to Mexico.

From the frozen Canadian prairie to Ghanaian slums, embedding in an environment and winning trust, while capturing story, jeopardy and emotion, has been an essential part of our work.

We love to help people tell their story, while also fulfilling the need to shoot in a television friendly manner. We can adapt to a given situation or shoot to bring the best from people while fitting a format.

Our core skills built over this period are

* Building trust with contributors, allowing us to capture a story in a natural manner

* Understanding the importance of communication between ourselves, contributors and our team.

* Working effectively in production to make things happen. How can we best make a shoot happen.

* Managing a shoot on location, be it in charge of a team, multiple stories or contributors.

* Managing Kit and Rushes. With extensive location experience, we are capable of ensuring kit is ready to go, and rushes are securely backed up with an effective workflow.

* Relationship management with locations. We understand the need for strong personal and professional relationships with locations where we are guests.

We have lived the 6 star lifestyle on exclusive cruise ships, and dug for gold with those who dream to be in such company. We have helped people find love, and change their bodies and lives forever.

A few examples of our work

Telling the stories of “real” people is not all. We have told royal tales, the history of beloved series and got to grips with the science of sleep, pets and cars.

The Secret Life Of Pets, The World’s Most Expensive Cruise Ship, Married At First Sight,

Don't Tell The Bride, Close Calls, The Cruise: Below Deck, 100% Hotter, Choccywoccydoodah, Just Tattoo Of Us,

The Dog Rescuers, How To Sleep Wellm Save Money Good Food,

Ashley Banjo’s Secret Street Crews, Goodwood Festival Of Speed, When Kids Kill

There is little we haven't done, and nothing we wouldn't take on.

Working With Presenters & Talent

Over two decades in television, Elliot Films has worked with household names on a variety of genres.

From supporting charity, taking on challenges, using their expert skills, or just being entertaining, we have a strong background in scripting for, and directing experienced talent and newcomers.

Some names from our past work include Alan Titchmarsh, Katie Price, Jonny Vaughan, Jedward, Kim Woodburn, Eddie Kadi, Susanna Reid, Matt Tebbitt, Ashley Banjo and Diversity, Rev. Kate Bottley, Eamon Holmes, Ruth Langsford, Sarah Harding, Ian 'H' Watkins, and Talents such as Michael 'V-Sauce' Stevens, Colin Furze, Rory Reid, Yiannimize, Charlotte Crosby and more.

Whether it is a highly formatted, scripted presenting series, or an on the fly documentary, we can show experience in relationship building, working with stars over periods of weeks, or a shoot for a day.

This allied to considerable experience producing and directing actuality and glossy interviews, makes us ideal for any project.

Master Interview Setups

With over two decades of experience in television, we have seen vast change to how interviews are shot, and the kit used.

Naturally we have moved with the times and are happy to put together whatever look is required, be it making the best of an in-location setup with panel lights and prime lenses, or making full use of a studio setup with props, flags, green screen and down the lens using a Vox Box type kit, or standard off-camera.

We can make it bright and bubbly or moody to suit the tone, and are always happy to set the scene or follow a brief.

We can also operate sound for these setups
